Lower limb lymphedema is a chronic condition in which lymph fluid accumulates in the tissues, most commonly in the feet, lower legs, or thighs. It occurs as a result of impaired lymphatic drainage. Lymph is a fluid responsible for removing excess water, toxins, and metabolic waste products from the body.
The condition is primarily characterized by a feeling of heaviness in the legs, swelling, and skin tightness. In more advanced cases, it may also cause pain, reduced mobility, as well as thickening and hardening of the tissues. Untreated lymphedema can lead to more frequent skin infections and a decreased quality of life.
One of the key elements of treatment is compression therapy, which helps reduce swelling and supports proper lymph circulation. For this purpose, the use of specialized lower limb compression wrap braces such as the AS-U-04 is recommended.

It is a distance elastic 3D knitted fabric consisting of two layers of facings and an interlacing that creates the appropriate thickness of the raw material and has relieving properties. The knitwear is made of the highest quality polyester yarn - guaranteeing high mechanical strength and spandex ensuring its proper flexibility. This material is characterized by a very low weight, high flexibility and a very large openwork structure, allowing for very easy drainage of sweat from the body and bringing fresh air to the skin. Products made of this raw material are neutral to the secured joint, do not heat or cool it, but ensure its proper compression and fit and reduce muscle vibrations generated during physical exertion. Its thickness and 3D structure perfectly relieves the orthopedic splints, stays or other elements mounted on the product and guarantees velvety softness to the touch.

The AS-U-04 compression wrap brace is an innovative adjustable compression brace for the thigh and knee, designed to effectively support the treatment of lymphatic and venous swelling and to accelerate recovery after injuries. Made of the innovative, breathable UniPren™ material, it offers a wide range of compression adjustment. The material is characterized by low elasticity, and the Velcro strap system allows easy adaptation of the compression level to individual anatomy and dynamically changing limb circumferences.
Its anatomically shaped design fits perfectly to the shape of the thigh and knee, ensuring consistent and even compression. Thanks to its special profile, the wrap does not slip or roll, even during movement.
